Evading Responsibility, DUI and Larceny Arrests Over Weekend
The following information was provided by the Avon Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.
Larceny
Preston H. Tencate, 27, 53 Helena Rd., Avon, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on Jan. 13, 2012 at 9 p.m. Police arrested him on an outstanding warrant and released him on a $3,500 surety bond. Tencate is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 25.
Operation While Under the Influence
Matthew Daniel Stedman, 22, 17 Hermance Rd., Barkhamsted, was charged with operation while under the influence on Jan. 14 at 3:12 a.m. He was also cited with failureto drive in the proper lane, operation of a motor vehicle without the minimum insurance required and a signal device violation, all infractions. Police released him on a $500 non-surety bond and he is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 25.
Deborah A. Heston, 50, 22 Andrea Ln., Avon, was charged with operation while under the influence on Jan. 13 at 11:11 p.m. She was also cited with failure to drive in the proper lane, an infraction. Police arrested her at the intersection of Deercliff Road and Sky View Drive and released her on a $500 non-surety bond. She is scheduled to appear in court on Jan. 25.
Evading Responsibility
Sabadino Parker, 35, 41 Beaver St., Apt. 312, New Britain, was charged with evading responsibility in connection to an incident involving property damage or injury near the intersection of Lovely Street and Old Wheeler Lane on Jan. 9 at 9:41 p.m. Police issued him a misdemeanor summons and released him on a written promise to appear in court on Jan. 25.
