Jonathan Rosow Wins Connecticut Indoor Rowing Championships
He had the fastest time in the 2,000-meter ergometer race.
While some were preparing for the New England Patriots and New York Giants to play in the Super Bowl, Avon resident Jonathan Rosow was part of a sporting competition of his own.
Rosow, who has rowed at the junior national and global levels, won the Connecticut Indoor Rowing Championships for the Junior A Boys Division on Feb. 5 in Easton. The regatta includes races on ergometers, or indoor rowing machines.
His 6:17 time for the 2,000-meter ergometer race was the fastest that day.
A PDF of the results of the regatta are attached.
