Technical Difficulties with Avon Public School Internet System
Faculty and administrators can't access website and e-mail functions.
Avon Public Schools' Internet system has been down since Friday, according to Superintendent of Schools Gary Mala.
Administrators, faculty and staff still could not access the website as of Sunday at 7:30 p.m. to add updates nor the internal communication system to send or receive e-mails. External access to the website is intermitten.
Other districts that get Internet service through the Connecticut Education Network, like Avon, are also having issues, Mala said.
There is no time line at this point for when the problem will be resolved, he said.
