Dakota Steakhouse closed its Avon location on May 25, 2011.

The building, constructed in 1994, is owned by Green Mountain, LLC and Paragon Steakhouse Restaurants, based in San Diego, CA.

Dakota opened there in 1995, according to the Town Assessor Harry DerAsadourian.
