Avon High School's Band livened up Avon's annual Memorial Day Parade on May 27th with patriotic sound. Led by Avon's band director, Mr. Robert Lovendale, the band of nearly 80 students, pleased the crowd who lined the streets of downtown Avon. This event is a highlight of Avon every year drawing thousands of people coming out to salute our Veterans and support our civic organizations, town departments and school organizations.
