'Almost Home' Author Tina Kelley to Visit Avon High School

On Monday December 10 from 7-8:30 pm, Pulitzer Prize-winning author Tina Kelley will speak at Avon High School for students and our community in the Avon High School Library. Ms. Kelley is a co-author of the book Almost Home, a true story that follows the lives and struggles of six homeless and trafficked children in America whose lives were changed at Covenant House, the largest charity for homeless children in the Americas.

Ms. Kelley is a former writer for the New York Times and is currently in the midst of a national book tour to promote Almost Home. After her talk at the event, Ms. Kelley will sign copies of the book, which will be on sale at the event.

This event is sponsered by the Center for Human Rights at Avon High School.
