Avon Library Seeks Summer Intern

The Avon Free Public Library is accepting applications until May 19 for a summer intern to work June 1 through mid-August.

The intern will work on the circulation desk, in the Children's Department and Technical Processing Department and on other projects. The pay is $8.75 an hour for 37.5 hours a week, including some evenings and Saturdays, with no benefits.

Candidates must be undergraduate college students who have completed at least the freshman year.

Send completed application, which may be downloaded from the town's website at www.town.avon.ct.us, with resume and cover letter to Tina Panik, Avon Free Public Library, 281 Country Club Road, Avon, CT 06001.
