Local Animal Lovers Donate to Help Homeless Pets

Avon Animal Angel Tree Campaign Collects more than $500 of Supplies for Pets in Need

Avon animal lovers showed their concern for pets in need by donating more than $500 worth of food, toys and treats to Best Friends Pet Care of Avon’s Annual Animal Angel Tree campaign.   All donations will benefit Our Companions Domestic Animal Rescue.

“We are delighted by the response to our Angel Tree campaign this year,” said Jen Tobias, manager of Best Friends Pet Care in Avon.  “The generosity of so many of our clients and other pet lovers in the will make a difference for many pets in need.” 

Best Friends Pet Care offers boarding, grooming and doggy day camp at at 60 Harris Road in Avon, and at 40 other locations across the U.S.  The Animal Angel Tree campaign is one way the company gives back to the community.  Since the campaign began,  it has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars’ worth of food, toys and pet care products for more than 100 different shelters and rescues across the U.S.  For more information visit www.bestfriendspetcare.com.
