McLean "Happy Hearts" Support Group Offered

McLean Home Care and Hospice is offering a “Happy Hearts” support group at the Avon Senior Center. This group is for seniors, 65 and over, who are living with limitations due to heart conditions, such as tired heart (Heart failure). Group members listen and share experiences about lifestyle changes in dealing with heart conditions. “Happy Hearts” meets at the Avon Senior Center on the second Wednesday of each month from 10-11 AM. Margi Crane, experienced McLean licensed social worker with extensive support group experience, leads the group. There is no cost to participants who may live in any town. Pre-registration is required. To pre-register, please contact the McLean Home Care office at 860- 658-3950, between the hours of 8:30 AM and 4 PM.
