Boy Scout Troop 274's Annual Pasta Dinner Coming Up

Please join the Boy Scouts of Troop 274 at their annual pasta dinner on Friday, March 28 at the Avon Senior Center.  A buffet style dinner will be served from 5:00 to 7:30 pm and is open to the public.  The suggested donation is $8/per person, $6/senior or veteran with a $25 family maximum.  In addition, fabulous items will be available in a silent auction and tin can raffle.  Tickets may be purchased at the door or by contacting Nancy Haskins at nhaskins1@comcast.net.

The proceeds from this fundraiser will be used to support the almost 40 Boy Scouts from Troop 274 who will participate in high adventure trips this summer.

In July, a contingent of Scouts will journey through Colorado, Wyoming and South Dakota where they will visit sites and national monuments before attending a week-long session of camp at Medicine Mountain Scout Ranch in South Dakota.

Another group of Scouts will travel to Florida stopping at locations such as Kennedy Space Center, the Navy Seal Museum, and the Manatee Education Center before setting sail on a tall-masted ship out of the BSA’s Florida Sea Base in the Florida Keyes.
