More Than $20,000 raised to help feed Local Homeless Shelter!

The Greater Hartford Whole Foods Market stores raise more than $20K in food donations for local homeless shelter.

Through the month of November, until November 30, the company has been collecting register donations in our ‘Feed Four More’ campaign at the 3 Hartford area Whole Foods Market stores. (West Hartford Bishops Corner, West Hartford Center, & Glastonbury) The money raised will buy non-perishable food (at cost, lower than retail) to donate to The South Park Inn, a homeless shelter, in Hartford. The food will be delivered in December.

The WFM Bishops Corner (340 N. Main St. West Hartford) surpassed $20,000 in donations today, November 27, during our holiday rush. As of November 18, The WFM Glastonbury location has raised more than $2,500 and the West Hartford Center (Blue Black Square)  has raised more than $6,500. 100% of funds collected are being donated to the South Park Inn, as we continue our mission to fight hunger.

Whole Foods Market believes being part of a community means being an active neighbor. And we believe true community transcends the boundaries of our towns and cities. We are committed to helping our hungry neighbors and are glad to have been able to exceed our goals in helping the South Park Inn.
