Avon Photos of the Day: Ice, Ice Baby

Here were some of the happenings at the Countryside Park pond as snow fell Monday afternoon.

The waterfall was still trickling at Countryside Park in Avon on Monday, but the frozen pond dusted with a layer of fresh snow brought winter activity to the park.

Avon residents Marco Bernasconi and Jack Noble and Brett Daubert, of Canton, took advantage of the ice to play some hockey. The three middle school students also play together on an Avon hockey team.

Simultaneously, two newly aquainted dogs ran around on the snowy ice during the pick-up game and played with each other as their owners looked on.

What did you do during Monday's snowstorm? Where's your favorite place in Avon to go when it snows? What's the best photo spot? Tell us in the comments! Upload your own photos of winter fun by clicking "Upload Photos and Video" above our gallery.
