Green Dog Market Hosting Adoption Event Saturday
Dozens of dogs available for adoption will attend.
Double Dog Rescue, whose motto is "Save a Life, Recycle a Dog," is hosting the area's biggest adoption event of the summer Saturday at the store, 784 Farmington Ave. in Farmington from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The rescue, which operates locally and brings dogs out of high-kill southern shelters to happy homes in the north, will be bringing dozens of adoptable dogs to the event. All the dogs are tested for temperament and treated by a veterinarian before they are put up for adoption, according to the rescue's site. Each is spayed or neutered as well.
