Mac's a Puppy Looking for a Break in Avon
Boxer/Bulldog puppy was homeless and hit by a car.
Mac is just a baby but already he's had a few tough breaks. The 7-month-old Boxer/American Bulldog mix, was brought to a shelter by a good samaritan who watched as a car hit him and kept on going, according to his profile on petfinder.com.
A veterinarian found he had heartworms, mange and was malnourished. But he was treated and is now healthy and looking for a family who will take care of him.
"Mac loves people - big and small and also enjoys the company of other dogs... He enjoys life... is housebroken and very smart. He has learned to walk on a lead and loves to go for walks. He has so much to offer one very lucky owner or family," his profile says.
