From the Hurricane Sandy aftermath and elections to Veterans Day, police news and real estate sales, November was an eventful time in the Avon community.

We survived Hurricane Sandy, went right into electing our president and other state and local politicians and then there was a Nor'easter.

And that was just the start of November.

We've also seen a lot of goodwill in Avon at the start of the holiday season, from the Avon-Canton Rotary Club doing a drive for Hurricane Sandy victims in Staten Island to The Coffee Trade serving as a collection site for Toys for Tots.
