Viewfinder: Avon Public Library Celebrates Fundraising Effort

The Meat House sponsored a party to celebrate donors who pitched in for the Avon Free Public Library's Campaign Committee's renovation fundraising.

Avon resident Chrissie D'Esopo garden, which was previously opened for informal senior prom photo shoots, was the site of a celebration for those who helped the Avon Free Public Library's fundraising campaign committee to benefit the library renovation. Dozens showed up for the event at the home on 289 West Avon Rd., where food, snacks, and beverages were offered as a live band played. The library renovations, which will double the size of the library, are expected to be finished by February 2012.

Editor's Note: Chrissie Desopo's full name was previously misspelled twice in the photo gallery description and cutlines and Heidi Zacchera's last name was improperly spelled in the captions. These errors were corrected and the article was updated again at 6:29 p.m.
