Wild Weather Forecast for Friday Night

Going out tonight? The Friday, May 30, forecast is calling for potentially heavy rain, so be sure to bring your umbrella!

We're in for some potentially wild weather again tonight! The National Weather Service is calling for scattered showers and thunderstorms, which doesn't sound too bad, but some folks may see small hail, heavy rains and gusty winds.

Saturday's forecast predicts scattered showers, mainly after 2 p.m., with a high near 71. Sunday is expected to be sunny, with a high near 75.

It's been an unusual week for weather already, with a scout from NWS coming to Connecticut after the Tuesday, May 27, storm, to assess whether tornado activity occurred

And since we're on the topic of weather, we're about to enter hurricane season!
