Avon Resident Competes in New York's 'The Callback'

An Avon singer has a shot at advancing in a New York singing competition that could get her an audience with some judges from Broadway in the final round. 

But before Katie Emery can get there, she needs you to like her YouTube video of the preliminary round performance. The person with the most likes will qualify as a wildcard contender for the semifinals. 

54 Below, a popular restaurant with cabaret performances by New York talent and Broadway stars, is hosting the competition.  Tony Award winner Scott Wittman (Hairspray, Smash) is a creative consultant for 54 Below and there are many other Broadway talents involved, according to the website. 

The winner of The Final Callback will be selected by Broadway entertainers and earn their own gig at 54 Below.
