The 37th annual Candle Light opening at the Avon arts center is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 22.

The following press release was submitted by the Farmington Valley Arts Center.

It’s been a holiday season tradition for 36 years, and on Friday, November 22, art enthusiasts are once again invited to browse and shop for beautifully crafted gifts in 20 studios and three galleries, to enjoy live music and complimentary refreshments and to share in the celebration, as the Farmington Valley Arts Center (FVAC) in Avon hosts its Candlelight Opening: the most popular event of the year. In addition to meeting artists, sampling treats and beverages, selecting unique gifts and finding inspiration for their home decor and holiday wish lists, visitors will have the opportunity to contribute to the creation of a new walkway installation scheduled for spring 2014, by purchasing a personalize brick dedicated to a loved one.
