Save the date! Avon Day, sponsored by UNICO, is Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012 with a rain date of Sunday, Sept. 30. The Avon Day Committee has an exciting, fun filled day planned, so be sure to join us.
Organizations and businesses wishing to reserve a booth or make a donation may visit the Town’s website and scroll down to “Things to Do in Avon” and then click on Avon Day. Donors may make their checks payable to the Town of Avon, Collector of Revenue and mail to 11 Arch Road, Avon, CT 06001. Forms can be found on the website at www.town.avon.ct.us.
Restaurants are also encouraged to participate and may reserve a booth by calling Nancy Anstey of the Farmington Valley Visitor’s Association at 860-676-8878.

Avon Day supports many local charities and non-profit organizations, which in turn, support residents through scholarships, grants and donations. Some of the funds also help to offset Avon Day operational expenses.
