The first day of the Christmas in Collinsville event features free horse-drawn carriage rides, chestnut roasting, luminaries, carolers, a gallery of trees and a holiday boutique. There will also be a champagne walk. Start at Blumen Laden, 41 Bridge St., buy an engraved champagne glass for $10 and visit participating shops for food and drinks. A map will be provided.
