Civil War Book Discussion with Dr. Matt Warshauer

Join us for a stimulating discussion of the Civil War novel, "March", by Geraldine Brooks, led by Dr. Matt Warshauer, Professor of History, CCSU.  This is the first program in the series, "Let's Talk About It: Making Sense of the American Civil War", made possible through a grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities.  The series is sponsored by the Avon Public Library and Avon Historical Society.  To reserve a copy of the book, please call the Avon Library 860-673-9712.  Dr. Warshauer's talk will be lively and interesting even if you haven't read the book - all are welcome!  Register online at www.avonctlibrary.info.  Refreshments provided.  Due to construction at the library, this program is held at the Avon Congregational Church, 6 West Main Street, Route 44.
