What's On Tonight: The Voice, New Girl, Chopped

TV tips for Tuesday, May 8, 2012

The Voice, 9 p.m., NBC

In tonight's finale, I imagine that Xtina will attempt to bring together all her fashion statements from the entire season — the tiny planet welded to her giant cranium, the fishnet stripper hose that keep all her cellulite locked and loaded, her satin granny panties that double as pants, and of course the crowning achievement — the tiara. Oh, and there will be a winner.

New Girl, 9 p.m., Fox

Nick moves out! Nick moves out? Maybe. Maybe they will give us a cliffhanger, and it will remain unclear to us all summer whether Nick has, in fact, moved out. Thanks for a lot of laughs in your first season, New Girl. I mean that.

Chopped, 10 p.m., Food

"Green goddess salad in the first round; fortune cookies and brazino in the second round; sourdough bread desserts." Green goddess salad! Expect a visit from Graham Kerr!

I believe the word you want is "hear", not "here".

Obama is a Marxist who hates America and everything it stands for. He's wants to destroy thisRead More country as much as any Taliban extremist, only with economic disaster (i.e. ObamaCare) instead of bombs and airplanes. But here's the irony...Obama's not the problem. The real problem is that people like you, Liz, will be around long after Obama's term as president is over. If people like you could be duped into voting for someone like Obama twice, it could happen again and again. I pray that this country will wake up soon and realize the horrific mistake that it's made and get this great nation back on a path to freedom and opportunity. If people like you, Liz, continue to prevail, then I pray for my children's future, for it will truly be bleak…
