Avon Lions Harvest Breakfast is Sunday, November 10

The Avon Lions Club's annual Harvest Breakfast fundraiser is coming up on Nov. 10, and proceeds will benefit the various causes that the Lions support.

The breakfast will be from 8 to 11:30 a.m. at the Avon Senior Center, located at 635 West Avon Road. Tickets for the all-you-can-eat event are $7 for adults, $5 for children from five to 12 years old while children four or younger eat for free. In addition, people are encouraged to bring used eyeglasses, hearing aids and cellular phones to the breakfast to be recycled. Taste Dining and Activity Books for the Greater Hartford area will also be for sale.

The menu includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries, muffins, juice, coffee, and tea.
