Margaret Bratton understands Avon's obligation to all of its generations. Careful attention must be paid to remarks made in public and made in confidence by our residents and business owners. She balances these with local, state, and federal levels of economic indicators and government legislation, that impact our town, when forming my Board of Finance decisions for the present and future of Avon.

Margaret is a 30-year Avon resident and member of the Board of Finance since 2005. She is a volunteer 3rd Grade reading tutor in New Britain since 2013 and a PTO member and volunteer since 2002. Margaret is also a Life-time member of Avon Congregational Church, and Deacon since 2009. She is a former Girl Scout Troop leader, a Stay-at-home Mom of 3 school-age children, and formerly with Aetna Insurance / Navy Resale. Margaret has a B.S. in Business Administration from Bryant College, is a 1983 Avon High School graduate. Her mother Barbara still resides in Avon and she is married to Ken, with three, children Abigail (11th grade AHS), Tessa (10th grade AHS), and Neil (8th grade AMS)
