Avon Schools Welcome New Staff Members
The district has made the following new hires for certified staff this year.
As students return to school in Avon Thursday, recently hired certified staff will experience first days of the school year as well in their new roles in the district.
New administrative hires:
- Michael Renkawitz, Thompson Brook School principal (effective July 29)
- Jess Giannini, Pine Grove School principal (effective June 28)
- Kelly Grant, Avon district director of pupil services (effective June 28)
- Jean Van Bourgondien, Avon Middle School special education (1-year interim position, effective June 14)
- Jessica Marzi, Pine Grove School first grade teacher (1-year interim position, effective June 17)
- Jaclyn Bivona, Pine Grove School first grade teacher (1-year interim position, effective June 19
- Kelsey Koha, Pine Grove School building substitute (effective June 19)
