Gifts of Love donated over 500 backpacks to its clients' children in August as they headed back to school.
The organization stuffed the backpacks with items like pencils, paper and dictionaries so that the kids "can start off the school year well supplied."
"We are proud to assist these children with a solid start to their education," Gifts of Love staff said in a press release.
The Avon non-profit that helps provide food and necessary items to financially struggling working families thanked everyone who contributed to the cause in a press release.
"Thanks to local donors - big and small - we are able to ensure that kids start the school year off right!," the press release stated.
