Police: New Yorker Made Threatening Calls To CT Medical Examiner, Referenced Newtown Shooting Probe

In February, Connecticut's chief medical examiner reported a complaint to police that he was receiving threatening phone calls referencing the Newtown school shooting investigation, police said in court documents.

Dr. H. Wayne Carver II, an Avon resident, did autopsies on the bodies of seven of the victims, shooter Adam Lanza and Lanza's mother, Nancy, Newtown Patch previously reported.

On Monday, police arrested Jonathan Reich, 22, of Flushing, NY, as the suspect who made the threatening calls to Carver. Police charged him with second-degree harassment.
