Coping with Grief & Loss During the Holidays

The holidays can be a particularly difficult time of the year, especially after someone you love has died. But a Farmington Valley community presentation will offer ways to help Greater Hartford residents cope.

The free program, entitled “Coping with Grief and Loss during the Holidays” will be held on Wednesday, November 9 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Carmon Family Center on 301 Country Club Road in Avon. The program will be led by Debbi Knox, a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist and Family Therapist from Avon’s New Day Counseling Center.

Knox will suggest ways to make the holidays easier for families who are grieving, and there will be an opportunity for people to ask questions. Refreshments will be served.
