As operations at Gifts of Love in Avon continue to grow, the non-profit announced that it's moving to a new location soon in town under one roof.
The new location will give the business more space for its clients, Carolyn McGrattan, Gifts of Love marketing and development director, wrote in an email to Patch. The new facility will allow more space for the Weekend Background program, which amounts to 110 bags of food a week for area children.
Gifts of Love, currently located in Avon Village Marketplace is seeking "donated contractor services."
"There are several construction needs associated with the move and we’re hoping to get some professionals that will be willing to donate their trade services in exchange for public recognition of their efforts on our behalf," McGrattan wrote in an email to Patch.
No information was immediately available on where Gifts of Love will move to in Avon. Updates will be provided as Patch learns more information.
