Avon Business Buzz: New Yogurt Place Opening; Happy Early 50th, Avon Chamber!

A new yogurt place is looking to move into the 51 East shopping plaza next to Avon Village Marketplace and the Avon Chamber of Commerce is gearing up to celebrate something big.

Here are some of the latest developments in the Avon business scene.

Avon Business News

  • Yogurt Fantazy got approval for a sign a few weeks ago, Town Planner Steven Kushner said. The yogurt place will be located in the 51 East Main Street shopping plaza.
  • The Avon Chamber of Commerce has almost reached the big 5-0! The chamber approached the Town Manager's Office about ideas for proects and events in honor of the upcoming 50th anniversary. Town Manager Brandon Robertson told the Town Council Feb. 7 that preliminary ideas discussed include a Welcome to Avon signs on major roads, using the former Tow Path School cupola a kiosk near the future Route 10 sidewalk and adding decorative lamps alongside that path.
