The Buzz:

• At the end of January, Avon Patch reported on a new healthy menu Avon Snap Fitness Owner Michele Welcome-Pellegatto and La Trattoria in Canton launched. As part of her "Michele-approved" initiative to feature healthy dining options in Farmington Valley restaurants and food stores, Welcome-Pellegatto has released another menu insert with healthy options at The Village Cafe & Bistro in Canton. • Messy Smocks is a new art school that opened in Avon Village Marketplace in November and offers many activities and classes for kids and teens.
