Experience a fall favorite for all ages at Hill-Stead. Enjoy the Connecticut countryside in full autumn color as you take part in activities suitable for individuals or families.

Hitch a ride on a horse-drawn hay wagon provided by Wood Acre Farms; build a scarecrow or two to adorn your yard; join a nature walk; make a tree cookie necklace; have your face painted. Rain or shine, Hay Day offers a variety of opportunities to express your creativity.

Food and beverages are available for purchase at the Hay Day Food Court in the Makeshift Theater Lobby. Nominal program and materials fees charged (food and activities require a certain number of $0.50 tickets; costs range from 1 to 5 tickets).

Hill-Stead thanks its 2011 sponsor Farmington Bank.
