RESCUE MISSION Bake Sale at West Avon Congregational Church

WEST AVON CONGREGATIONAL CHURCH'S Middle School Youth Group , "Middle Schoolers on a Mission," (MSM) is hosting a BAKE SALE  to raise funds for an animal welfare mission project.  Through Double Dog Rescue, in Harwinton, these youth intend to raise funds to rescue "Chipper," a one-year old Aussie Mix from a high-kill shelter. Double Dog Rescue facilitates the rescue, vet attention, and placement in a foster or permanent home.The bake sale will feature delectable treats including coffee cake, cookies, cakes, brownies, rice krispie treats, Irish Soda Bread, and more!  For those who are counting calories, donations of baked goods or cash will also be accepted.  Baked goods may be dropped off on Saturday, March 17th between 4PM-7PM in West Avon Congregational Church's Fellowship Hall.  Thank you for helping these youth realize their goal of saving a dog's life and learning about animal welfare!For more information about Double Dog Rescue, visit www.facebook.com/DoubleDogRescueCached or www.doubledogrescue.org.
