Jeffrey Butler, Ex CL&P Chief, Sells House for $1.56M

and his wife, Susan sold their Avon home for $1,560,000 early last week.

The Butlers' house at 8 Pembroke Dr. went on the market in late January and they have since relocated to Charlotte, NC, according to property transfer records. They moved to Avon in September 2009 after buying the house for $1.6 million, according to property assessment records.

Butler in November of 2011 after being bombarded with criticism of how he handled week-long power outages that occured following a tropical storm in and then a in October.

, president and CEO of Curtis Packaging in Sandy Hook, and his wife, Amy bought the five-bedroom modern colonial on April 30.

Twelve other properties sold between April 30 and May 4.
