Fresh Market to Add Outdoor Seating

The Planning and Zoning Commission approved the application at its March 26 meeting.

Have you ever resorted to eating a sandwich from in your car because there was nowhere on the property to sit?

You won't need to in the future when Avon's new specialty grocery store adds , as approved by the Avon Planning and Zoning Commission on March 26.

There will be two small dining areas on either side of the entrance, each with four tables.

The Fresh Market, which goes by the motto, "Experience your food," is adding the outdoor seating so that customers will have a place to eat food they buy on the premises, according to Town Planner Steven Kushner.

Seasonal produce will also be displayed on crates near the entrance, such as pumpkins in the fall, for decoration.
