Tell Us About Your Favorite Sushi

What's the best place in Central Connecticut?

Not everyone loves sushi, but those who do are passionate about it. They have their favorite spots, their favorite rolls and their favorite side dishes.

So where do you get your sushi? Are you comfortable picking it up from the grocery store, or do you only order from places that specialize in it?

Do you love to watch the chef? Do you make it at home yourself? Or do you wonder why anyone would eat raw fish in the first place?

Each Tuesday, Patch asks its readers to talk about their favorite foods and the places they love to eat in Central Connecticut. So let's pick up the chopsticks and talk sushi!

Higashi in South Windsor is fantastic, I've been going there since they opened in 1997. Great restaurant, the food is great, they have several creative rolls, they are friendly, and their prices are the best around.

Oyama's in Enfield is just awesome! I love their Dragon Roll and their Volcano roll. Soooooo good! They have a great variety of sushi and sashimi. Definitely need to check it out if you haven't already. YUM!

Noble Sushi on Queen Street in Southington is our favorite! Great sushi, great service and atmosphere. Hibachi tables, sushi bar, regular bar and tables. It's our first choice when deciding where to go out to eat!

I agree! Another plus is the "bento" Box Lunch option around lunch time. My fav. combo is Curry chicken, white rice, Gyoza, and a spicy tuna roll. Super deal at less than $10. Gotta get there before 4 pm for that though.
