Where Are You Getting Your Christmas Tree?
Avon Boy Scout Troop 274 are selling trees outside of J. Foster Ice Cream as an option.
Avon Boy Scout Troop 274 is selling outside on Route 44 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturdays and 12 to 6 p.m. on Sundays through Christmas or until all trees are sold. Prices run at $40 for a 6 to 8-foot tree, $50 for an 8 to 9-foot trees and $65 for 10-foot trees.
The Boy Scouts also help load the trees onto customers' cars and provide string to tie the trees to the car rooftops.
This is the troop's first time selling Christmas Trees to raise money for the organization.
