Making a Difference in the Pet World!

Making a difference in the pet world. As a local manufacturer, we distribute natural raw pet food and freeze dried treats across the United States as well as Hong Kong.

The back story is heartwarming. My mother, Sandi Trudeau, had a very sick dog and was desperate to find a way to naturally cure him of his ailments. She began to research natural raw feeding and spends much of her time helping those whose dogs have health issues and need nutritional support. As a result of this, our family is now changing the health of a dog one at a time. It is now part of the mission of Miller Foods, Home of Oma’s Pride. We are no long just a turkey farm. For more than a decade we have manufactured a natural raw pet food right here in Avon.  We hear so many stories from across the country as to how our pet food has been a “health of a difference” in their family pet.

This is a story about an Oma’s Pride dog food customer…

Remy is a 2 year old Weimaraner with allergies and a great example as to how our raw pet food has made a difference. Remy had irritation patches on his paws and eyes as well as missing patches of hair all over his coat. Once on a raw diet, Remy made a miraculous recovery after only three weeks. Let me share Remy’s story with you. Check out our new blog @ www.omaspride.blogspot.com

This is one great example of the impact of a small family business. Having been in the food business for many years and known for our fresh Miller turkeys, Oma’s Pride natural raw pet food has given our family the opportunity to become a manufacturer in Connecticut. Our products are distributed across the United States and our pet treats are in Hong Kong yet I am always surprised to find that those who live in the area are unaware of what we do at Miller Foods. Our “storefront” is very unassuming. Did you know you can get treats for your dog and cat as well as pet food?
