Avon Business Buzz: Pet Store, Italian Restaurant Close; Yogurt Fantazy's Sign is Up

Here's the latest in the Avon business scene.

• Trattoria Il Trullo in Riverdale Farms in Avon has officially closed, according to property management staff. The Italian eatery had opened in the former Papacelle's space within the past year.

• Petals & Paws has closed its Avon location. But don't worry! The Canton headquarters is still open and the Avon store reopened in West Hartford this week.

• Yogurt Fantazy's sign is up and will move in under The Grist Mill in Avon. We're still waiting on the word about their opening day. But they have a building permit and the interior is being renovated. You can see through the window that a new service counter has been added.

• Gifts of Love is expecting to close on its new building at 34 East Main St. on Monday, May 6. They're also looking for furniture donations and volunteer site work, so contact them if you can help out!
