Why Go: The Canton Public Library is having a showing of "Mary Poppins" on its big screen with free popcorn for everyone. Open to all.

Why Go: New exhibit lets you follow an interactive timeline of Mars exploration, practice driving a rover around on the Red Planet with a motion capture simulator, plant seeds and compare how they grow in Earth soil vs. simulated Mars soil and more. 

Pricing: Free on the fourth Wednesday of every month from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., beginning March 23.

Mother's Connection Open House at Jump!Zone

Where/When: Jump!Zone, 15 Cheryl Dr, Canton, March 29, 10 a.m. to noon

Why Go: Mother's Connection is a volunteer network of mothers who plan activities, events, holiday parties and more for each other and our infants and preschool children. Come let the kids have fun jumping while you meet new moms in the area. Arrive in a group, pay for one admission and any children under 3 are free. There is a baby/toddler area for the little ones as well.

Pricing: $8 but if you arrive in a group, pay for one admission and any children with you under the age of 3 are free

Art@SWH-Draw On!

When/Where: March 26 and 27 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Stanley-Whitman House

Why go: This statewide art program is designed to get kids drawing and creating. Drawing supplies and still life displays will be available.

Pricing: $3 per person. No registration required.

Equilibrium Dance Theater "The Settlement"

When/Where:  7:30pm on Thursday, March 24, 8 p.m. on Friday, March 25, and Saturday, March 26, and 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 27 at in West Hartford.

Why Go: From the company: "This new dance company is on a quest to start a new hip hop movement. Through an innovative combination of movement, music and the spoken word, the production explores finding an identity in a society that is increasingly disconnected from ritual, nature and community." 

Pricing: Tickets range from $17.50-$22.50.  Students, seniors and Let’s Go Arts members save $2.00.  All seats are reserved.
