Push-Ups for Patriots, Young Avon Achievers, Flatbread Fundraiser for Thompson Brook PTO

Five things you should know about April 12, 2011.

Avon Old Farms School is still collecting money for Push-Ups for Patriots, which benefits the Injured Marines Semper Fi Fund that supports injured Marines and their families. Avon Patch was at the event Sunday and took a video.

The Avon High School girls varsity golf team is traveling to Masuk for a match at 3 p.m. and the boys varsity track team is facing Ellington away, while the boys varsity tennis team will host Hall at Thompson Brook School at 3:45 p.m.
