Five things to know on May 26, 2011.

Howard Camping caused some to panic and others to laugh with his rapture prediction for last Saturday. Don't worry, he was wrong and Avon is still here, but it does beg the question about what people would do if they knew for a fact that the end of the world was coming. The town talk question of the week is: what would you do on your last few days?

Avon police arrested two men on a warrant Tuesday on burglary and larceny charges related to the theft of over $33,116 in valuables from a home on Vermillion Drive back in 2009. David Kawiecki, 39 and Sebastian Kuziak, 30, were already facing charges for a string of robberies that year in the region, as well as in 2010.
