Avon Congregational Church Morning of Sharing

Avon Congregational Church Day of Caring, 

Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014, 10 a.m.

 AVON, CT. ---  The Avon Congregational Church will hold its annual “Day of Caring” on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at 10:00 - 11:00a.m. It’s a hour of hands-on service projects, after a brief worship service that begins at 10 a.m. Projects are varied, and include quilt-work, decorating cupcakes, and making “Stone Soup.” No experience necessary. Pick a project upon arrival in Fellowship Hall.  All are welcome. 

          The Avon Congregational Church, with its landmark spire, is at 6 West Main Street, Avon, at the corner of Routes 44 and 10/22. There is ample parking in the adjacent church parking lot.
