Join us Wednesday, November 14 at 7 PM as part of our "On The Shoulders Of Giants" speaker series as we discuss neurological implants for prosthetics and the amazing progress that is being made in this area with the help of our guest presenter, former Talcott Academy student Jacob Komar.
Jacob is a former Talcott student who created Computers for Communities, a non-profit organization that repurposes computers for those who could not otherwise afford them. He is the recipient of the Prudential Spirit of Light award, a Do Something "Brick" award and an alumnus of FIRST Robotics. His current work at Brown University is designed to provide direct neural control of artificial limbs.
