Haitian Art and Handcraft Sale at Church of St. Ann, 289 Arch Road, Avon – Jan. 26th + 27th in St. Ann’s Father Bennett Parish Hall. All are invited to view and purchase original artwork and handcrafts from Haiti – over 250 paintings and hundreds of crafts in brightly colored unique styles, made by Haitian artisans. Proceeds from the sale will go towards the rebuilding of a kindergarten and community center in a rural village in northwest Haiti called Chermaitre. The Vassar Haiti Project has supported this village for over 11 years.
