Teddy and Me Children's Tea

On Saturday, February 2, from 11am-1pm, Relay for Life Team Epworth will host a Children’s Tea to benefit the American Cancer Society at Memorial United Methodist Church, 867 West Avon Rd, Avon.  The tea features a creative, young person friendly luncheon, activities and a silent auction.   Tickets are $15 for an adult and a young person guest with Teddy bear or stuffed animal.  Each additional child is $5.  This is the forth year the Team, with members from Memorial United Methodist Church in Avon, has used a tea party as a fundraising event but the first to cater especially to young people.  However, adults attending will be pleased to know that the Tea will include its’ signature “sweet”: scones with clotted cream prepared by Petra Latchenich as well as other goodies.  Neat Attire please: Dress to impress!  To order tickets call 860-673-2111 M-F
