score is arguably the second most important component of the student’s

application. Given that almost every school accepts both the SAT and the ACT

equally, on which test should you/your child focus?

Join Heather Carroll and Coleman Ross, professional local

tutors, for an enlightening presentation on the SAT versus the ACT. You’ll

learn the histories of the two tests, how they compare, and which test may be
the best for you/your child. This is often a big decision, one that shouldn’t

be made without being as informed as possible. Come to the free presentation on
Tuesday April 29 at 6:30PM at the Avon Public Library.

About Heather Carroll

Heather Carroll has been a private tutor in the Farmington

Valley since 2005. She specializes in test preparation for the SSAT, SAT, and

ACT exams (all sections except math). She also specializes in study skills, the

college essay and general writing coaching.

About Coleman Ross

Coleman, owner and instructor of Ace the Test, LLC, is a former middle and high school math teacher who began tutoring four years ago, specializing in SAT and ACT math. He works with students to set goals, build a foundation of test-taking skills, and clarify and correct conceptual 

misunderstandings.
