Music for Youth's Rising Stars Benefit Concert, Sunday, November 3rd, at 5 PM

Music for Youth announces its annual Benefit Concert,
featuring “Rising Stars”, young performers from area towns who have participated
in master classes sponsored by Music for Youth.  The concert will
take place on Sunday, November 3 at 5:00 PM at Trinity Church, 651 Pequot
Avenue, Southport.  All proceeds from the Benefit Concert will go towards
MFY’s FREE Young Persons Concert Series at Pequot Library and school residency
program in Bridgeport.



The November 3rd Benefit will feature eight separate acts
of talented youth from Fairfield County and beyond.   Performers
include Avon residents, Deanna and Noelle Casey, who will perform in Vivace.  Vivace Strings is the advanced string
ensemble of the Suzuki School of Westport.  Founded in 2009, Vivace is a choreographed performance ensemble
which appears regularly in Fairfield County.  It is comprised of thirteen teen violinists.  They will perform Bach and rock at the November
3 Benefit Concert.
