Rummage Sale Avon Congregational Church March 28-29

  31st Annual Rummage Sale at Avon Congregational Church, March 28-29, 2014


      The Avon Congregational Church’s legendary 31st Annual Rummage Sale promises to have treasures for everyone! The popular sale is Friday, March 28 (6 p.m. - 9 p.m.) and Saturday March 29, (9 a.m. – 1 p.m). All are welcome. On Friday, March 28, admission is $5 from 6 p.m.–7 p.m., and then $2. On Sat. March 29, admission is $1 and items are half-price.  


The Rummage Sale features quality items and unbeatable prices: furniture, jewelry, toys, collectibles, house wares, books, Christmas, and more (no clothing). The Sale is known throughout the Farmington Valley for variety, quality, and tidy arrangement.

Time to clean out? Donations of items in good condition are appreciated. Drop off  Sunday March 23 (12 Noon – 3 p.m.); also Monday - Wednesday, March 24-26, (9 a.m. – 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. - 8 p.m.), or call the church at 678-0488 for pick up. Volunteers will help unload items from those dropping off on Sunday afternoon. Please group similar items and label them for the Kitchen, Toys, Books, Linens, Furniture, Electronics/Table Top Appliances, Crafts, Holiday Decorations, White Elephants, Jewelry, Sporting Goods, Lawn & Garden, and Special Treasures. NOT ACCEPTED: clothing, TV’s, large appliances, large exercise equipment, tires, cassettes or VHS tapes, mattresses, or computers, and (unless new) sofas. 


          If you wish a tax-deduction form, the church has those available at drop-off. All proceeds benefit the programs and operations of the Avon Congregational Church.
